ADR screening session

The ADR supervisor inspects the film with the director and the post-production team. He/she centralizes post-synchronization (technical; sound; add-ons; acting) and loop group requests. The dialogues are annotated on iPad and then sent to the team for total cohesion.

Preparation / Planning

Our team assesses recording times according to identified needs. We establish a schedule based on the availability of actors as communicated by post-production management. For loop group actors, we manage casting, invitations to recordings, drawing up of work contracts and remuneration.

Recording

The ADR supervisor is in charge of dialogue synchronization in the recording studio while also supporting the director in ensuring consistency between live acting and post- synchronization. He/she makes sure that recording proceeds as scheduled. The recording session is managed using ProTools software.

Editing

We edit the recordings in-house using ProTools. Our team also uses Auto-Align for phasing, and Izotope RX as an add-on if needed. Sound editing is readjusted to match the latest image editing. Sessions are delivered via ProTools and can be exported as AAF if required.
